So I've been really frustrated lately, mostly with school and the folks infesting it. These critters have been showing up quite a bit so I made a little page on them and named the species "lyjaxx". They remind me a bit of *meradragon's eisnas, but I wasn't meaning to draw eisnas when I drew these, I was just frustrated and personifying my anger... and thus I have a new species with some of the softest fur in the universe...
Anyhow, this image was drawn in pencil, went over with microns, colors a bit with microns in my English class (hence the green tongue), then once I became done with that I brought out my limited portable colored pencil collection, colored it, then after school I stopped by Joey's, grabbed a Crayola hazel pencil, sharpened it, and used it as a precision brush for silver paint on the chain, which in real life gives it a rusty look. I was too lazy to add a background, but it was bugging me so I brought it into PSP7 where I screwed with it for weeks until I got the right idea for how to approach this issue, and finally added a background (no matter how cruddy) in PSP7. Traditional Media because the background took next to no time to make at all... once I figured out what I was doing, that is. |
